Annapurne Sadapurne Shloka Concept
In the presented annapurne sadapurne, the glory of the Annapurna, form of Mother Parvati is recounted. Mother Annaparna is the power of Shiva, she is the life partner. Since immemorial time, Mother Annapurna has given the blessing of food to human beings and will continue to provide cereals to eternity. We also ask Mother Annapurna for alms for the prasad in the form of food necessary on this path of our knowledge and renunciation and oh mother please give us alms.
There is an important reason behind the use of the word alms in the present annapurne sadapurne shloka, in ancient times there was an ashram system for the disciples to gain knowledge where the disciples did not get food from their home. They had to feed themselves by begging for alms. In the same way, the sages who walked on the path of dispassion used to feed themselves by asking for alms. Therefore, in this verse, food alms have been asked to Mother Annapurna to attain perfection on the path of knowledge and renunciation.
प्रस्तुत श्लोक में माँ पार्वती के अन्नपूर्णा स्वरुप की महिमा के बारे में बताया गया है। माँ अन्नपर्णा शिव जी की शक्ति है, शिव जी की जीवन संगिनी है, वे संपूर्ण है। अनादिकाल से माँ अन्नपूर्णा मनुष्यों को अन्न का वरदान दे रही है और अनंत तक वे अन्न का प्रसाद प्रदान करते रहेंगे। हम भी माँ अन्नपूर्णा से हमारे ज्ञान और वैराग्य के इस मार्ग में सिद्धि प्राप्त करने हेतु आवश्यक अन्न रूपी प्रसाद के भिक्षा की याचना करते है व माँ हमें अन्न की भिक्षा प्रदान करें।
वर्तमान श्लोक में भिक्षा शब्द के प्रयोग के पीछे एक महत्वपूर्ण कारण है, प्राचीन काल में शिष्यों को ज्ञान प्राप्त करने के लिए एक आश्रम व्यवस्था थी जहाँ अधिकांश शिष्यों को उनके घर से भोजन नहीं मिलता था। उन्हें भिक्षा मांगकर अपना भरण पोषण करना पड़ता था। वैसे ही वैराग्य मार्ग पर चलने वाले अधिकांश साधु भगवंत भी भिक्षा मांगकर भरण पोषण करते थे। इसलिए इस श्लोक में माता अन्नपूर्णा से ज्ञान और वैराग्य के पथ पर सिद्धि प्राप्त करने के हेतु अन्न भिक्षा मांगी गई है।
