The meaning of gajananam bhoota ganadhi sevitam shloka is that (I bow with reverence to the lotus feet of Shri Vigneshwar), who has the face of an elephant, whom is served by the Bhootganas (heavenly servants) and others, Kapitha, the delicious fruit offered by the devotees, and consume jambu (berries); who is the son of Goddess Uma (Goddess Parvati), and the one who defeats trouble, I bow respectfully to the lotus feet of Vigneshwar Ganesha.

Hindi Translation

(श्री विघ्नेश्वर के चरण कमलों को मैं श्रद्धा से प्रणाम करता हूँ)
जिसके पास हाथी का मुख है,
जिसकी सेवा भूतगण (स्वर्गीय सेवक) और अन्य करते हैं,
जो भक्तों द्वारा चढ़ाए गए स्वादिष्ट फल कपिथा,
और जम्बू (जामुन) का सेवन करते है;
देवी उमा (देवी पार्वती) के पुत्र कौन हैं, और जो संकट को हरते हैं,
मैं उन विघ्नेश्वर (बाधाओं को दूर करने वाले भगवान)
के चरण कमलों को श्रद्धापूर्वक नमस्कार करता हूं।

English Translation

Who has the face of an elephant,
In whose service the servants of heaven are engaged,
Those who consume apples and berries offered by the devotees,
One who is the son of Goddess Parvati, and the destroyer of troubles,
