Bhagavad Gita Chapter 11 Verse 24
Nabhah Sparsham Deeptam is a part of the shloka which has been taken from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita’s chapter 11 verse. Seeing the cosmic deposition of Shri Bhagwan changed the nature of Arjun’s relationship with Shree Krishna. Previously, he had viewed her as a close friend and had interacted in a way worthy of a close colleague. Somewhere he was aware that Shree Krishna was God, but the affection towards shri krishna would make him forget the all-powerful aspect of Shree Krishna’s personality. All he would remember is that he loved his friend Shree Krishna more than anything in the world.
Nabhah Sparsham Deeptam shloka is official motto of Indian Air Force (IAF) which was was approved by the President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, on April 21, 1959.
