Raja Krishna Dev Rai T-Shirt for Women
A capable military strategist, Raja Krishna dev rai was a distinguished author and poet too. He penned a beautiful poem dedicated to Bhagwan Vishnu and Devi Lakshmi, titled Amuktamalyada. It was also Raja Krishna dev rai who encouraged Kannada and Telugu literature in his kingdoms, and even had his own chosen poets, called as the Ashtadiggajas. While Allasani Peddana and his chief advisor Thimmarusu were already well known for their intellect, it was the eighth Ashtadiggaja, who is now a household name thanks to his sharp wit and his cheeky attitude that could even save the kingdom from dire trouble.
He is none other than the same Tenali Rama, who is well known for his quirky tactics and is a popular character in Indian short stories. In a way, Birbal, the so-called court jester of Akbar can also be labeled as an impostor of Tenalirama, because his alleged tactics were no way different from that of Tenali Rama.
Sadly, Raja Krishna dev rai breathed his last in 1529, just as an Uzbek invader, Zahiruddin Muhammad Mirza, also known as Babur had begun expanding his reign into Bharat. Had he been alive for even a few more years, the Mughals may have been driven out even before they could establish their authority throughout Bharatvarsha.
