Neither scared nor afraid T-Shirt : न भीतो मरणादस्मि
Fear is just a natural response. When death is inevitable, why be scared of the same?
The one who is not scared of death is the one who has no regrets in life. When Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had breathed his last and his son, Chhatrapati Shambhuji aka Sambhaji Maharaj was brutally slaughtered, Aurangzeb thought that there was no challenge left to his alleged supremacy.
Neither scared nor afraid : Example from Queen Tarabai’s life
However, there were many warriors, who knew neither fear nor terror. One such braveheart was General Tarabai Mohite, regent of the Maratha Empire and the commander of the Maratha forces. Daughter of the legendary commander in chief Hambir Rao Mohite, Tarabai was not even 25 when she lost her husband Rajaram Chhatrapati to a lung infection.
However, Queen Tarabai was made of sterner stuff. She was just scared of ignominy that she would earn if she didn’t match the expectations of her deceased parents and her husband. However, as long as she was alive, the Mughals dare not set their eyes on the Maratha provinces. In the words of Jadunath Sarkar, an otherwise fierce critic of the Maratha warriors, “During this period, the supreme guiding force in Maharashtra was not any minister but the dowager queen Tarabai. Her administrative genius and strength of character saved the nation in that awful crisis”.
Neither scared nor afraid is our humble tribute to such bravehearts, who were never afraid of trying it out, but were only afraid about Adharma reigining supreme in our motherland. Check out Neither scared nor afraid collection.
