Acharya Chanakya once gave an example of two trees, to explain why change was essential to life. He described a tree that was enriched with ample resources, but was stout and stubborn, while there was another tree, which was not that great, but had the unique ability to change according to the circumstances. When a storm comes, it is such trees that withstand the troubles, while the stout and stubborn fall down without a resistance.

Likewise, the ones who don’t accept changes fall down like a pack of cards. There were many Pagan civilizations before the onset of Abrahamism, but today, it is only Bharat that has sustained herself through the test of time and incessant invasions. It is the quality of changing according to the times that has made Bharatvarsha the unique nation that it is today.
