मधु॒ वाता ऋतायते मधु क्षरन्ति सिन्धवः।
माध्वीर्नः सन्त्वोषधीः ॥
Transliteration
madhu̱ vātā ṛtāyate madhu kṣaranti sindhavaḥ।
mādhvīrnaḥ santvoṣadhīḥ ॥
Hindi Translation
हे पूर्ण विद्यावाले विद्वानो ! जैसे तुम्हारे लिये और अपने को सत्य व्यवहार चाहनेवाले पुरुष के लिये वायु मधुरता और समुद्र वा नदियाँ मधुर गुण को वर्षा करती हैं, वैसे हमारे लिये सोमलता आदि ओषधि मधुरगुण के विशेष ज्ञान करानेवाली हों
English Translation
Environment provides bliss to people leading their life
perfectly. Rivers bliss us with sacred water and provide us
health, night, morning, vegetation. Sun bliss us with peaceful
life. Our cows provide us milk.

दश कूप समा वापी, दशवापी समोह्नद्रः।
दशह्नद समः पुत्रों, दशपुत्रो समो द्रमुः।
Transliteration
daśa kūpa samā vāpī, daśavāpī samohnadraḥ।
daśahnada samaḥ putroṃ, daśaputro samo dramuḥ।
Hindi Translation
दस कुओं के बराबर एक बावड़ी होती है, दस बावड़ियों के बराबर एक तालाब, दस तालाबों के बराबर एक पुत्र और दस पुत्रों के बराबर एक वृक्ष होता है।
English Translation
One step is equal to ten wells, one pond is equal to ten stepwells, one son is equal to ten ponds and one tree is equal to ten sons.

यस्ताडागं नवं कुर्पात् पुल्णं वापि खानयेत्।
स सर्वं कुलमुद्धृत्य स्वर्ग लोके महीयते।
Transliteration
yastāḍāgaṃ navaṃ kurpāt pulṇaṃ vāpi khānayet।
sa sarvaṃ kulamuddhṛtya svarga loke mahīyate।
Hindi Translation
जो मनुष्य पुरानी बावड़ी को तालाब और बागों को खुदवाता है या नए सिरे से बनवाता है उसे नए जलाशय बनवाने तथा नए बाग लगाने का फल मिलता है।
English Translation
The man who excavates the pond and gardens of the old stepwell or gets it rebuilt anew, gets the fruit of constructing new water bodies and planting new gardens.

तुलस्याः पल्लवं विष्णोः शिरस्यारोपितं कलौ ।
आरोपयति सर्वाणि श्रेयांसि वरमस्तके।

ulasyāḥ pallavaṃ viṣṇoḥ śirasyāropitaṃ kalau ।
āropayati sarvāṇi śreyāṃsi varamastake।
Hindi Translation
कलियुग में श्री विष्णु के मस्तक पर तुलसी के पत्ते चढ़ाए गए, अर्थात तुलसी भगवान द्वारा भक्त के लिए सर्व श्रेष्ठ वरदान है
English Translation
Tulsi leaves were offered on the head of Shri Vishnu, that is, Tulsi is the best boon for the devotee by God.
